Tasks first, chat second
Assign it. Discuss it. Finish it.
Ortexus is a simple shared task app. You can give tasks to others, receive tasks, give tasks to yourself, set a deadline when it matters, and nudge yourself with a daily reminder. Each task keeps its own small thread so nothing turns into another full messenger.
- Send tasks, not long messages.
- One task, one thread, one clear outcome.
- Due dates and daily reminders when you need them.

What Ortexus does
The app answers four questions: what you gave others, what you received, what you assigned to yourself, and what needs action right now. It feels light and direct, and you can open it and get oriented in seconds.
Home
See what is due today, what is overdue, and what is still pending on both sides, with a fast path to create a new task.
Inbox
Everything people send you lands here. Accept or pass, then move it through to done.
Outbox
Watch what you have sent: waiting on someone, already in motion, finished, or declined.
My Tasks
Your own assignments live here: today, what is coming up, and what you already finished. No accept or decline step.
Deadlines and reminders
Pick a due date when the work has a real cutoff. Add a daily reminder for habits or follow-ups that should not slip. The app keeps both visible on the task so everyone stays aligned.
Below is a quick read of how those pieces look next to task chat, without a separate messaging inbox.
Everyone sees the deadline
The due time stays on the task so both sides mean the same thing.

Can we move the due date to Friday?
Alex
Yes, Friday works for me.
When the task is finished, this thread stays with it for context.
Task-focused chat
Each task has a small subchat for questions, updates, and wrapping up. For the first version we keep it to text, and it only exists inside that task. There is no separate chat inbox, so the task stays in charge.
Share clearly
Add a title, optional description, a deadline if you need one, a daily reminder when that fits, priority, then hand it to someone else or keep it for yourself.
Simple statuses
Status stays readable: draft, sent, accepted, in progress, completed, declined, or cancelled, so you can scan a list and know where things stand.
Useful notifications
You get nudges when something matters: new tasks, accept or decline, new messages, reminders, overdue items, and completion. We keep the rules tight so your phone does not buzz all day.
Early access
We're building Ortexus mobile first and task first. The app will use Flutter on the phone, Supabase for auth and data, and this site for the landing page, privacy policy, and support.
